Winter/Spring Activities

Snowmobiling

Upper Kittitas County is a great place to snowmobile.  In Cle Elum, Roslyn and Ronald just jump on the Cle Elum Ridge Trail and ride to Teanaway, French Cabin and beyond.  From South Cle Elum and up in Sky Meadows simply head into the 100,000 acres of the L.T. Murray Wildlife Area for unlimited riding opportunities.  Guests can literally access hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile trails right out the their front yards.

 

Downhill Skiing and Snowboarding

Just a short 30 minute drive away from our properties is The Summit at Snoqualmie.  With dozens of runs from beginner to advanced, over 500 acres of back country skiing and more than 400 of inches of snow a year it's tough to pass up some of the most beautiful and challenging terrain in the state.

 

Cross-Country Skiing and Snowshoeing

There are numerous opportunites for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.  Just minutes from most of our properties is Suncadia Resort with miles of trails and rentals available at the Pavillion.  For those of you looking for more wide open spaces, Tronsen Meadows at Blewett pass offers a non-motorized maze of trails offering all levels of technical challenges.

 

Family Fun

The young ones will love staying at our properties.  With inner tubing hills at both Suncadia Resort and The Summit at Snoqualmie and an ice skating rink (weather permitting) at the Suncadia Resort Amphitheater you'll have plenty of activities to tire them out.

Golfing

Cle Elum is home to the 7,100 yard championship golf course, Prospector.  In 2006, Prospector was named one of the "Best New Public Courses" by Golf Digest Magazine.  Cle Elum is also home to the SunCountry Golf Course, a beautiful 18 hole golf course suited for golfers of any level.

 

Fishing

Upper Kittitas County provides some of the best river and stream fishing in the state.  Whether you fish with a fly, spinner or bait there's a fishing hole for everyone.  Rainbow, Cutthroat and Eastern Brook abound, so fish on.
